Lisa Kapp Evanson

Lisa Kapp Evanson grew up in the furniture business, watching her parents and grandparents run thriving furniture showrooms in New York. After receiving a Masters Degree in Architectural Design from Yale University, she became a Registered Architect. Lisa's rigorous training in color theory and spatial planning makes her uniquely qualified to guide her clients through the Evanson's trademark custom design process. Her years of experience in architecture and design - having worked for Edward Barnes, Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer, Beyer Blinder Belle, and Joe Durso - enable her to respond to her client's concerns with efficiency and sensitivity. Lisa's design philosophy is immediately recognizable as one enters the showroom: "To create modern classics, we look to the best of design and reinterpret formal traditions.
