The entire Evanson product in made in the USA. The chairs are built and shipped out of Baltimore. Most of the tables and cabinets are shipped out of New York.
Can anyone buy Evanson furniture?
Yes, however our products are normally sold "to the trade". Interior designers and decorators are our customers. Please contact a designer. We will be able to refer you to a designer if you do not work with one now.
Can I customize the products I see in the catalog? Can I order a different wood and stain color?
Yes. This is our specialty. By working with decorators and interior designers, we realize that every interior is different. Most of our furniture, especially tables and cabinets can be sized to meet your requirements. We have over forty wood veneers in three price categories to customize your piece. Custom stain colors are available too.
Once I place an order, how long is the delivery time?
Our standard lead-time for tables and cabinets is 12 to 14 weeks. For upholstered chairs it is 8 to 10 weeks from the time the fabric or leather arrives at the factory.
What are the Evanson payment terms?
A deposit of 50% is required to process an order. The balance is due when the order is ready to ship.
How is freight and crating handled?
The purchaser is responsible for cost of delivery. We work with reputable and insured freight companies who are experienced in moving fine furnishings. You may also choose to use your own movers. Normally orders are sent freight COD. However, at your request the freight could be pre-paid. Most orders are sent blanket wrapped. For international shipping, we recommend a carton or wood crate. Cartoning and crating is additional.
What is the standard warranty for Evanson furniture?
The EVANSON merchandise is manufactured in accordance with the highest standards and is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from date of invoice. During this period, at its option, EVANSON will repair or replace, free of charge, such merchandise as shall prove to be defective. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, tampering, negligence, abuse or normal wear. Coverings are not warranted.
